I purchased some CZ 75 Airsoft guns made by UHC, Taiwan a number of years back, and they were duck's nuts on, size wise. These were the plastic ones, so the weight is way off, even with the metal weights in the mags.

Hi-Point fits the bill perfectly. Why on earth would a farmer need a handgun for a vehicle, or a handgun at all (other than trips to town)? The only reasons for a handgun are to fight your way back to your longgun, or if you're in the CITY where...

I think we'll need to keep this discussion focused on the uses of the rimfire cartridges rather than make this a SHTF thread, EOTWAWKI thread, etc. But I personally don't really think the fear of ammo cooking off in a car fire, holds enough weight to be a logical argument against keeping it there. "Remington 870 is better than a Mossberg 500 because of the sound it makes when you rack the slide." That gem was at a local gunshop, but I swear I can't go within 25 yards of a Bass Pro gun counter without wanting to chuck a nearby box of ammo at the clerks for some of the dumbass stuff they say. The sad part is its usually conversations with other employees, not with customers. I guess stupid is self-perpetuating. Last...

Published (2009-11-08 18:11:00)
The views are changing but visible tattoos are FAR from accepted in the professional world. To think they will be widely excepted in this lifetime is a joke. I wear a suit everyday so mime are covered at work. As long as you don't do your face, hands, or too close to your wrists it is no problem covering them for work. Although, ssometimes when I cross my legs and my pant leg moves up a little of my calf piece shows. It is met with very...

He knows he would lose the vote of too many people if he signed a bill like that, and he would never get a second term. My bet (depending on how mid-terms go) is that if he has his way, it would be ready to go in Nov./Dec. of 2012. Once ...

I think they will "try" to, but I don't think they have a guarantee that they will. I could be wrong. Nice people there. Call up and ask, it's not to hard to get someone on the phone there. I feel bad that I spend so much more at Vance's, but Vance's has a much bigger selection and usually has much better prices. Do you know what New Albany charges for transfers these days? Well, my "I got hosed on a used gun" stories result from trusting a dirtbag on Thefiringline with what he said about a gun. I did a cash/stuff trade with a dirtbag on a .22 rifle on TFL. He sent a few pics and said the gun had "ceramic" coating on it. Yea, he had spray painted the darn thing! Fine, paint your gun, but who paints a bolt and everything? Not to mention the huge crack all the ...

Someone should take this guy out to the range...then he will get to know that guns, whether shotguns, handguns and/or rifles are not just "assault weapons"...apart from protection our and ours, home and land, it can also be fun.

Kel Tec, for one. Slightly higher price point, but same reputation for service. Others have names and reputations - both of which are expensive to have, hold, and uphold in the US Economy. Is a Colt or Kimber that much better than a Rock Island? Most say yes. But, many will also say that the Rock Island's bang is just as loud and durn near as accurate. Is a Brooks Brothers suit that much ...

There are two local guys that I use. One charges $7 dollars and the other while out of my way charges nothing. He told me when I asked about the free of charge service. He replied that the next time a customer wants to buy they will look him up. One other shop charges $50 and another $60 I personally don't due much business with either one of those shops.
