I do not know where my post went, but it did not end up here. Posting again: Long story short - fella who chooses to open carry has a history of being harassed by the Norfolk (Virginia) Police Dept. Recently the settled a complaint for $10K and a no-discuss clause. A few weeks later a bus driver calls the cops because he is OC-ing while riding the bus home. Cops arrive and detain him...

The incumbent, Lucille Roybal-Allard, gets an "F" rating from the NRA. Her challanger, a Republican named Christopher Balding, gets an "A". I met him this morning at his apartment where he gave me flyers to pass out in my building. Seems like a good guy and I like most of his political viewpoints, although he's not as Libertarian as am I. Nevertheless, he is the guy in the 34th if you're...

Long story short. My local shooting range and I had a discussion and they forwarded me to a local Republican "workshop" that works with the candidates for election. Although I didn't care too much for what I did, I know it was very important. It consisted of calling people on the phone from a computerized list and taking a short survey and a quick plug for the republican party and other ...
