HA/GR for sale
Published (2009-12-15 10:32:00)
Let's see fabricated intake $1000, fabricated oil pump and distributor drive $500, GMC block and head $1000 to $1500, Hudson rods $600, porting job $800, J and E pistons $600, rings and bearings $400, custom made aluminum rocker arms $2000 balancing $250 and custom built header $250. This is what is in the engine alone. Plus countless hours making everything work like Hudson rods in a GMC, this is a 120mph car and I haven't seen...

well I think Jeff did well at Sydney missing out by such a close margin, still runner up is not all that bad. One day I might be runner up, or even top dog. Who Knows with drag racing? You just have to be lucky as well as highly skilled.

"Flap, Thanks the clearences are good. I assume the hornet runs a 235...right? This is really a out-and-out snivel on my part as I really don't want to lay on a cold garage floor and pull the pan. The manual says the damn thing only runs 35 lbs ( I assume that's hot ). Anybody else notice a 10 lb pressur drop after installing a partial flow oil filter? It takes five minutes of electric drill running the oil pump to get oil...
