Speaking of old Margaret and crowd give some thought to planned parenthood. W/O abortion they would be broke. 95% of their clinics are in minority neighborhoods. Now just who do you suppose is paying for all those abortions, legal or not.Their association with ACORN is also interesting.

But before the bill to create two new Mojave national monuments has even had its first hearing, the California Democrat has largely achieved her aim. Regardless of the legislation's fate, her opposition means that...

Otherwise, however, not much is happening with global warming at the moment. The Earth's average temperatures have stopping climbing since the beginning of the millennium, and it even looks as though global warming could come to a standstill this year. This condition can be salvaged; there is hope. But immediate action must be taken. Someone needs to tell the AlGoron to resume eating ...

When all is said and done, politicians, no matter their side of the aisle - or whatever is right, will do whatever is politically expedient. It is little more than a race to keep getting reelected.

I support abortion rights, I just do not support the government paying for it. If a woman wants an abortion, then she should pay for it. If her private insurance covers that, fine, but I already am against government health coverage programs - every single one of them - whether they pay for abortions or not.

Rick, the Math issue is real. On the SAT tests 2.1 male scores 800, the highest score possible, for each female. It has been that way for years. The ratio is not as bad but the girls do better than the boys on the verbal portion. in the 1.6 to 1 ratio if I remember correctly.

Yet last week came a report from New York that makes D.C look like M.I.T. Some 200 students, in their first math class at City University of New York, were tested on their basic math skills. Ninety percent could not do basic algebra. One-third could not convert a decimal into a fraction. Not surprised by this at all. A pal now retired from a local Community College claims the results ...
