Today was my worst mileage ever @ 39.8 mpg's, Holidays with lots of city driving My best was 57 mpg's all highway in the summer with A/C on, windows closed. 5spd.

Yeah, cry me a river. Though I guess you're getting hit harder than most... I managed 5.8 last fill only because I did a 200km highway stint to bring the mileage up slightly.

should be somewhere in the owners manual that came with the car. If you've lost this then i think the only other alternative is to get the dealership to pull it. I'm not sure that theres an aftermarket cable available for us to pull the codes ourselves.

It could be a bad N18 valve. Thats a good thing. It means your EGR isn't
opening when it should. Find someone with a Vag-com and do the EGR
adaptation and it should keep the MIL off.

I'm on the fence right now, not sure if i should get a PS3, or a computer to use as a mediacenter hooked to my LCD tv
already have a Wii, but i want to do more from the TV, IE stream video, internet, etc
is PS3, really the way to go

Or a bunch of these sites sell the right stuff for your car, typically under $20 for 1.5 liters. Its not cheap, but no VW fluid seems to be real cheap if you look at it.

Very intriguing idea, replace your lightbulbs once, and then never again.
But at $50 for 55w ( incandescent comparable) bulb, I'll stick with CFLs for now.
If the prices come down, I'm all over these.

yeah i bit the bullet last friday, when my car decided not to start at -6, it had a 2000 sticker on it
i was suprised i got that much life out of it
Got the same OEM battery for 125 plus tax, not a bad deal, i know i likely won't need it to last another 9 years
