Let me look at my service manual, I will see if I have the 96 bird schematic....are you trying to swap
2nd gen mark mirrors on?

The first and only thing that I can think of is that the
keyless entry
module in the trunk could be at fault. Try disconnecting it and see what
happens.

Does the battery light come on when the gauge reads low? If so it can be
the
voltage regulator or the alternator. My gauge would go low and the
bettery light would come on. I replaced the alternator and had no problems
since.

yes you can replace them very easily just got to autozone or any
auto parts
store and pick up new plugs, cut the old ones out and splice in , solder,
and heat shrink the new ones just make sure you keep the wires in the
correct order and do one at a time.

I put a double din Pioneer AVH-p4000dvd in my bird. I just cut the little bar that separates the original AC and radio holes. Then I moved my A/C controls to the bottom, it works great except for the big gap at the top (like an inch or so). Later on I will be putting LEDs in plexiglass for indicator lights and I'm
filling the gap!
