I said STANDALONE .exe. That's the .zip file. The file inside the zip is just Foxit Reader.exe. It should not ask you to install anything. You'll have to manually add file associations, start menu shortcuts, etc. It might be easier for you to just use the setup.exe You'd have to manually extract the np32dsw.dll file from the installer.exe and put it into the data\plugin folder if you don't want to use the installer....

Wireless control for media centre
Published (2008-11-28 08:50:00)
Hi! I am using Logitech Di Novo mini keyboard. I think it is very nice in terms of design and performance. Of course it is not meant to substitute full size keyboard but in my opinion it is very good for media center and limited net surfing. /BBB

I've recently set up a very basic media centre using a second-hand P4 PC and I'd like to be able to control things wirelessly. For the main media centre functions, I can use a USB IR remote (which I am currently bidding for on eBay), but I'd also like to use it for Internet browsing, so I need a way of inputting text. It seems to me that I have three options: A wireless keyboard, possibly with...

So far, there is one glaring problem with GBM PRO - disaster recovery mode selects what IT thinks you need to back up and then presents a confusing tree to select other stuff. The trouble is that you don't know exactly what IT has selected. It should make things easy by showing partitions/drives. This is a deal killer. That is the PRO version @ $20 more than the competition. The interface is ...

I tried uninstalling Adobe Reader 7.0.7 with "Add or Remove Programs" to no avail. An error message appeared: "This pack package could not be opened. Verify..." I then tried to uninstall with Revo Uninstaller. I received the same error message, but was allowed to continue. Revo Uninstaller found 1709 Registry items. Is it safe to delete all of these items? Some are extensions, e.g. ...
