Titles which have more than one meaning can be fun. For example, in the IndieManga book 'Origins', there's a comic by me called 'Fell'. I named it that because it can have three different meanings, all of which are relevant to the story. Firstly it takes place on a fell (ie. a wild hillside) secondly, they fight fell monsters ('fell' meaning wild and terrible) and thirdly, the main character falls into...

I think master baiters would be the best name of any manga ever. In terms of name generation, the things you yourself list are widely used. I mean , stuff like neon genesis evangelion, eureka 7, monster, 20th century boys. there is at least some relevance with each name to the story. While a catchy or unusual name is good i think, the quality of the story is far far more important. You could call 'monster' chi chii's clown shoe...

Hmm I just recently got an email from these fellows, just to let me know they exist and to get in touch etc. As soon as I get chance I will, nice of them to let me know they exist rather than me stumbling upon them at random.

I'm friends with these dudes - they're also displaying work at the Solloway's anime/manga art exhibition. They're a bunch of good guys, but always too short on money for print runs hence the webcomics! Hassan and Damian are lovely!!

This is the most important to me acutally. I dont have trouble making stories. Usually, The name for the series is the name of the main character, or the name of the conundrum of the situation. Or a thing repeated by what the main character says. And maybe some times the main characters favorite food.. How do I think of a name? Without using any of these options? xD

Hey all... I'd like to tart by saying HI! to everyone out there, my name is Chris and I would like to invite anyone who's interested to check out my own manga which, after a lot of time, energy and paitience, is finally nearing completion! It's the summer holidays! The time is ripe for the up-and-coming Sweatdrop forum talent to create a kickass anthology of stories involving big-breasted vampires. (The boredom thread can now be left alone ) So yah If you're interested, post! Do some sketches, write some stories, whatever. If we eventually get together a few stories and a few people to draw them, this could turn out pretty...

Not making the top ten for the Manga Jiman competition was really humbling, but it has only fueled my determination to improve my work. My greatest disappointment is that my story won't be getting the lovely exhibition time in large print at the embassy. So I would like to share my story with you, and I hope you enjoy reading it. I think it was definitely worth the 2.5 days I didn't sleep ...

The character (as I mentioned in "I'm Back" thread), was based on a friend of mine's MSN picture. After making him I was chuffed so gave it a fitting background, and topped it off by making it wallpaper size. Hope you like it. It's something we might work on over the summer and come up with a few strips, so keep your eyes open. 800 x 600 1024 x 768 1280 x 800 EDIT: ...

SD widow here. I'm looking to invest in a scanner and Photoshop CS4 so my girlfriend can work here as it's a long way for her to travel and I'd like to make it easy for her to stay (I'll save her the blushes and not mention her name). I have a self built beomoth of a PC that has a high end PCI-Express x16 graphics card, as much low-latency RAM as you can address on a 32-bit operating system ...
