He had positive moments too, though, like praying for Amber and the entire sad little sequence and his outreach to Lex about friendship lasting after the game. Hence Mixed. Which was followed by a confessional of Rob saying "You didn't really believe that? Did ya? Cmon! *cackle*" I mean really guys, where is the positivity in Rob's edit? M means full-on positive in there. There wasn't any. Rob was completely...

Back in Gabon, people were convinced Ken was the winner when he got the credit for flipping Susie to vote out Marcus in the recap, despite that the episode clearly showed it was Crystal who did the work. Sometimes the editorialising serves long-term objectives other than highlighting the winner. In that case, it was the beginning or the reinforcement of Kenny's negative cunning mastermind arc. It was needed to explain Sugar's...

One thing about the "Next Time" segments that is useful is whats not shown. I remember there was a preview scene with Amanda and China for I think the F6 episode, but it wasnt aired until the Final 5. And a Gabon scene with Kenny saying he is the glue that holds them together and it was never shown. Every scene a winner has been involved in in the "Next Time" segments has happened

Definitely editing manipulation, because we know from interviews that Kathy actually didn't betray Lex. It was a decision to make it appear that way. Good catch.

Of course that's the point, which is why I was emphasizing it. The editors didn't just choose to show a positive comment from Amber about Susan, they actually manufactured a positive comment to make it look like it was about Susan when it really wasn't. If you weren't considering Amber as a winning possibility before (in real time), this type of manipulation should have kept her on the list. If only I hadn't made too...

The James\Alexis thing was a spoiler that proved false (unless you postulate a big SEG conspiracy, but then why the hell bring James back).

I totally took my first stab at the VF Chart.. I think I may have counted a lot of sentences that shouldn't be "sentences"; but I counted
everyone's using the same idea so there shouldn't be a problem, unless I'm skewing the confessional/TCQ numbers by giving more sentences than I
should. Overall, the numbers look pretty accurate, so I'm satisfied.

Yay, somebody else notice the action vs. talking/thinking theme that was introduced with John and Shambo. The way that the entire theme is being edited is sort
of weird, since on Galu we want to root for Shambo and the action, but on Foa Foa we want to root for Betsy and the thinking (she doesn't jump right in
with Russell like the others do, she is more cautious).

I think Russ would have won, especially over Shambo's potential horrid jury performance. Jaison is a great speaker, but I don't think the cast really
liked Jaison. I'm not sure. He either would have pulled votes in solely based on his performance, or Russell would have won. I'll go with Russell, but
Jaison could have pulled an upset given the chance in front of the jury.

In the villain's shot, there's a blonde girl. It could be Courtney Yates, but I really think it's Sugar (surprisingly).

Then maybe we could find out.

I'm desperate to know how many confessionals Russell H. got this episode if there are any mathematicians looking for a challenge. I swear he got more
airtime than the entirety of the purple tribe.
