Welcome to Deer Hunting Texas style. And Hog, and Turkey too. Nothing 'new' or 'unusual' about it.
Most of the 'Hunts' you see on TV are 'canned' in some shape or form.
There was a Filmed 'Hunt' going on when I went to the North Country for Caribou. Think a Spotter Plane, and 3 Wheelers to 'herd' them in the direction they were 'set up' to do the Filming.

plasma's historicly have blacker blacks. They can burn in easily (compared to LCD).
The LED lcd is just the backlighting, the projection is the same technology. Anything above 120 HZ is probably not noticeable to the human eye. Don't get alarmed by all those store display sets with the brightness set at a jigawatt. The worst thing you can do is judge a screen by how bright it is compared to ...

Well, those Princeton barbers have some pretty high property taxes to pay, so I'd say you done pretty good at $25.
Seriously, I spent $20 on a pair of clippers about 5 years ago and that's the last time I spent anything on my hair. It's buzzed pretty close.
