that fence needs to get out of there also whenever i am done fishing i pick up litter left by others and when i see someone leaving i ask them to clean up there mess. there are 2 garbage cans there is it that hard to go to them and drop garbage off in them we all need to keep our water ways clean. thanks for the heads up zimmy and pauls. tight lines

It sounds as if the the State of CT is actually on our side with this issue. I will e-mail every local, state and federal person involved in this and will also inform my club the CT Surfcasters about this issue. We need to use the Rhode Island model in our own state to protect access to public lands and waters.

I was in and out of there quick as a flash. I thought they already closed? His overhead must of been out of sight! (I thought his prices were) Don't know what he was thinkin,, But I know whar I was feelin.

Checked the town website and the meeting for Nov. 25th in which the zoning change for the dam property was to be discussed has been canceled. Not sure why.... I will update after I talk to someone from planning.

Anyone have to deal with the old guy with the beard who is the security guard at fairfields marina? Bought a new vehicle and didnt have a sticker on it last saturday. He was a real @$$ It was snow flurries and he told me to park all the way over where the boaters were taking their boats out on trailers. It was a hazzard parking in that area so I drove to the channel threw in 2 lures to video ...

I went out today in the Fairfield/Westport area to try my luck. I threw some chunks for about two hours without a single hit. I'll try again tomorrow then I think I'll put the rods up for the year. It was pretty cold today on the beach.

I was out Friday night - very warm, decent swells, lotsa fog and drizzle...and one schoolie landed - 2 on and 5 short hits. I don't think we'll see any more warm nights for some time now.
