I have a run/debug configuration that, before launch, runs a maven goal. A popup indicates that the "before launch" action is executing, but there's no output in the "Maven Run Window" as there would be if I ran the maven goal explicitly. Why not? I'm running idea 7.0.3 on FC9.

What is the status of
IntelliJ IDEA's support for running on a 64-bit JVM? I've found a fair number of references to people who have done it when searching the forums. However, it seems to require some hacking, and the four .so files included with IntelluiJ 7.0.3 are all 32-bit.
