Thanks, that what I needed to know. I can get a good deal on an Adige and from what I've read here and other places, they are a good unit(minus expensive replacement parts).

Fitting DNA Wheels to WR400 (2000)
Published (2009-11-08 18:46:30)
Yeah, well the rear didn't fit either, stock spacers way too big, the "spacer" that's installed in the hub doesn't even come close to the inside of the swingarm, on either side. Def. calling them first thing a.m.

Carb question for my 05 DRZ sm
Published (2009-11-10 21:33:11)
I went ahead and ordered the jets because I had to order a pin for the front caliper anyway. I feel like I've clean it really good but I haven't soaked it over night or anything. What should I soak it in?

go for cycle style speedo, forget the old cable setup. if possible go for newer 48mm front end, it's much better. i used to race 380 (only one season) in mx, what an animal

woult the 120 90 work on a 17 2.5 rim? I have one laying around and rather than buy a 3.5" I've been looking for dual sport tires that will fit the 2.5"

the offset was incorrect. it should be 19-21mm offset off sprocket mounting flange to give chain clearance. Also you should run a 150 series tire because it is designed to go on a 4.5 to 5.0 inch rim. Motostrano does not build wheels so they dont know offsets. Those wheels came from Qtm inc. kirk Quote: Originally Posted by tripleespresso...

I might be able to help narrow your search. I don't know where you live but assuming you have a title for the bike I'm pretty sure all your state is concerned about is 1) Safety (i.e. headlight, brakelight, etc), 2) Possibly noise (i.e. exhaust), 3) Possibly emissions. So your questions about motor mods, suspension, and wheels may be moot. Check w/ your state's DMV. Check out their ...

I just installed a set of DNA wheels on my WR426, it was pretty much straight forward. There were supposed to be wheel spacers in the DNA boxes. I assume you got the wheels new. Mine we taped to the bags that the wheels were wrapped in. The stock pacers do not work. Especially because the front had an odometer drive. (At least my 426 did.) The outer diameter of the stock spacers are ...
