tropical snowman (nice name) the entire fox line of helmets is real nice. and the f2 line is a exellent helmet. it pretty light weight, it comfy and it'll protect u. fox makes great products and it's really one of the only mx helmets i trust, besides o'neal, tree lee, and thor. plus i have never heard some one say a fox is not comfortable... so im curious anyone their actually not like fox cause their melon doesn't fit?

i'll keep my chinese crap...mainly because i dont need 600 dollars to protect my head as well as a 150 dollar helmet. in 20k miles i've had no issues with either of my HJC's or my AFX.

You should be able to get a set of crf triples bored out to 48mm in a decent machine shop. Probably need a cnc machine. I'm thinking if you put the right size shim in the clamp part to lock the diameter at 47 then index around the diameter to find the center and make sure the bore is perpendicular to the cutter then program it to cut 48mm... I'm no machinest but i think this would work. Take off ...

Depends of the width of the strap. Ratchet straps if they are 1", cam buckle if they are 2". the cam buckle on the 1" straps don't always stay tight and don't have enough grip area, but a 2" buckle works great for a weight of a bike when tying it down.

I know what you mean. It seems like I cant go a day without seeing someone on a sportbike (usually a 1000) riding by with locked elbows, no real gear, and huge chicken strips. It bugs me but I laugh at them secretly. I know its not right to judge someone but it seems like its always the exact same dude, everytime. People like that ruin the image people have of motorcyclists.

Here are the ones I have seen used by guys on a KTM site, they say they are better than some of the others. Install and ziptie the wires to the throttle tube so they don't come loose, then install grips. Guys say you can safety wire over them, just don't go crazy enough with it to cut through the grip. http://www.dual-star.com/index2/Ride...d_grip_kit. htm I'll be getting some soon I...
