I think the first quote is where No 8's question came from Where's the newbie thread anyway?...

Quote from: andyk3 100%daft on November 27, 2008, 10:40:59 AM a full petrol tank is better as once empty rust can develop .. and i have never had petrol go off over 3 - 4 months of the bike not being used That does make more sense, I've not had mine go off after 3-4 months either. Don't know where I heard that one about emptying it. I would definately turn tap off and run till it cuts out if its not going to be started at...

My bikes fitted with a datatool evo alarm and it does my nut in so i want to take it off, will it be a big job? I think its on its way out as it goes off when it wants, doesn't do what its told when i try to turn the motion alarm off, when alarms off sometimes the bike still wont turn over and i've lost the spare fob. Would someone like me be able to remove this with basic tools and ...

I've got the clutch hub out of my RM125, and according to the Clymer workshop manual I should be able to remove the basket, but it won't budge. (Sorry about the quality of the pic, taken on my phone) There is a very slight bit of movement due to the bearing, but it seems to be gripping the clutch basket and the centre axle. Any clues as to how I can get this off? Am I missing ...

My front brakes have been getting worse and worse since the start of the year, since getting the brakes checked out by a garage they have almost stopped working due to calipers seizing and warping the discs, i blame the garage for the warping as this only happened since they fitted new pads. The garage said it was common for kawasaki brakes to become rubbish over time. Im on the hunt ...

So I've got this tomtom rider. It hasn't charged from the bike since purchase. It's been back for repair twice, taken weeks. It still wont charge. It's pretty trivial to connect up and should be hard to get wrong. It's simply a black and red wire that you hook up to the battery. The chap on support is now blaming my bike. He's asking if I have a "single wire system" or a "can bus...

I was wondering if anyone knew if a B model ZX9r engine would go into a ZXR750h frame and if so what else would be needed to make it run fine
