Looking for a list of people who are planning to attend this year. If you haven't been in the past, you are missing out on a great chance to see some nice cars and meet some great people. If you have been, then I don't need to tell you anything and hope to see you again this year. This link has all the details for the 2008 Shootout and some pics from past Shootouts. http://www.sc-shootout....

I found a 95SC up the street a bit with a running motor for $425.00. Since I'm not allowed to keep a junker in my own yard, I plan on just taking the motor, SC and IC. What ya think, too much, too little for a running motor with 130K? Body and interior has some major issues and I don't want it. I plan on bolting it to my engine stand and say, Oh yea, that's where this goes and maybe give it ...

Dont hate but I actually like these movies, Although the last one was one of the worse they made. But what other movies do you get to see and hear cars racing, peeling out and going head to head all the time. Anyways looks like the original formula has been stirred up and Vin and Paul walker are back. More american muscle is being used, A Grand National starts it all off, and ...

I just bought Eagle GTs P225-60-16s for the stock rims. I ended up going back and measuring many different offerings and found they all seem to be at least 1/2 to an inch less tread on the road then my old tires. Believe it or not I have 5 SCs currently registered and on the road, they span 89 to 92 and all have the stock wheels, and about 6 different tire brands. Since I put low miles on...

Well after some debate and discussion I pulled the trigger and purchased a slightly used 1.7L Autorotor this week. This was not purchased from SCU, but it will be similar to those that were offered. I'll be doing it in steps, next step is to send it to PSE Supercharger for nose fitment, then it will be sent off for the completion of the remaining components. Just thought I'd share this, as I ...

After all the things I put this guy through personally I feel it is time for some recognition. No, I'm not talking about XR7 Dave (this time) but a member that has been laying low for a bit. fast Ed fast Ed for years has been caring for the Canadian crew. What really set him apart from the crowd was when I was trying to source a coolant by-pass hose. Ed sourced some hoses and brought them...

I've been accumulating enough SC parts over the years that I will never do anything with that I decided to remodel my kitchen with thunderbird SC stuff. As far as I know, i'm the first person to have attempted this (at least I found no info when previously searching around). I have to admit it is shaping up to be pretty cool and I have to thank my wife for allowing me to be creative in this ...

I just got my new Precision PT1800 water to air intercooler. It is a little overkill on size, the core dimensions are 12X12X10. But i figured bigger is better on this! with the 43% OD i was running my air inlet temps were pushing 190 (on a 50 degree day) at the end of the 1/4 mile. hopefully this IC will be able to keep the temps well below ambient even on the hottest days. Inlet and outlet are...
