Why do you not install a Messaging Multiplexor and migrate the accounts one-at-a-time between the old => new environments? Using imsbackup/imsrestore is the current working plan. However, it took over 40 hours by my last estimate. And that was with running 4-7 concurrent imsbackups and then...

Solved, I found the attribute that permit that a user in LDAP is seen in the DA User GUI. This attribute is not intuitive since apparently does not display information for the purpose of a user object is shown in the DA. The attribute is: mailhost that indicate in that server mail contain the information for the user and is used by send mail, etc, etc, Thanks for all replies.

iwc/uwc adding addressbook fields

We are running NotifyLink to sync our blackberry to COMs 6U2. This might be more of a question for Notify but I need to start somewhere. The blackberry contacts have a field for the blackberry PIN and birthday. These fields do not exist in the UWC/IWC address books. Is it possible to add these fields to UWC/IWC?

The documentation does not explain how the Outlook connector connects to exchange and which port/protocol should be running. I will find which ports exactly are blocked and ask to be opened this microsh*t guys are from some other planet. Update: Port...

Thanks Shane for your help. I had import data before configuring messaging server. Yes, I ran ./imsimta cnbuild after configuration. When I tried ./imsimta rewrite -test localuser@mydomain.fr, I obtain the same result than postmaster : Illegal or Unknow alias. When I try to send mail to gmail.com for example, the mail is correctly delivered. (maybe this can help ...) All of my local address for my domain return "unknow alias"....

We should also mention that, even with the hard link for the message data (ie, the .msg file), each "copy" of the message delivered to each separate folder requires an entry in the corresponding store.idx file and an entry in the appropriate NN subdir of that folder. So there is still some per-user disk space requirement. But only one copy of the message data on disk. Oh, and I lied about the "only one copy for all 250k...
