Am I the only Eastern Canuck on here? It's lonely down here in Lower Nowhere. Great Forum; entertaining, informative and get to share all the trials and heartaches of other owners. Keeps me in touch with the rest of the World.

Hey BlueBrick I'm from Dartmouth, so I'm in your neck of the woods. If you see a stock (I didn't pay extra for the rock chips or rust bubble on the roof) '02 with two crazy dogs in the back, it's probably me.

There are a lot of dealers in Canada that sell Redline and Motul products that will ship directly to your door. I know of many people who have ordered Redline from: Wildgoose Performance - Custom Built Engines and Restorations Alternatively, you can have Canadian Tire order RedLine products. For Motul, I have a local dealer in the Ottawa area that I buy from. However, I have purchased it previously from HMS Motorsports in the States, but...

Castrol Syntec. I use to be a fan of Mobil 1 Syn, but since the switch formulas, started using Castrol Syntec and never looked back. As well, ran out of the Black OEM filters, so switched to Denso which is of pretty high quality construction.

Hi Jeff. I'm in La Salle. I have an 01 S that I bought in 04. It has been very good to me. If you ever need parts check out Team Auto on Plessis. I get all my parts dirt cheap there. They alwasy have a Forester or 2 on the lot. I also recommend a set of winter tires. It makes a huge difference.

The Yellowhead is good till Valemont, then down through Blue River > Kamloops it gets pretty bad. But it has the lowest pass, and the easiest grades. And the TC through Field, Golden, Revelstoke and Three Valley Gap can be brutal. It has already been closed a couple of times this winter. And more traffic too. But the worst bit could be Merritt > Hope, over the Coq. Luckily you get to go...

ibt Subieoutlaw, Trainman and Jefflee there are a lot of different options (Read $$) out there. look at what your conditions are and buy accordingly. Subieoutlaw lives in Calgary, they don't plow all the streets and get lots of blowing snow, so the intersections get nice and polished.. his studded Hankooks are the bomb.. I live in Kamloops, we barely get any snow as it is and ...
