Check out the I just bought a thread. Markfromplano just bought a sectional that was half decent looking. The ones in this thread are god awful. Spertia's looks like a sofa molded out of a bag of marshmallows.

Apparently. I'd never heard of it until Mr. Morel mentioned it several times. I thought more people would get the reference, but maybe they are filtering ed for fear of the unknown. At least you can get the patina joke now.

I know at least one brand is coming out with a tablet version in the near future (if you care). I have a few of the HP netbooks at work that were free with Verizon FiOS installs at a few remote branches.... not too shabby but I don't have much in the realm of netbooks to compare it against. Are there particular features you are looking for?

I'm a huge Trek fan and went totally apeshit over this movie. Saw it twice at the theatre, downloaded the torrent, probably watched it 5 times since then, and am getting the DVD the day it comes out heh. It's no Wrath Of Khan, but it's a pretty damn close second IMO.

I have a +1 for the D90. A great camera that is pretty consumer level, but if you know what you're doing you can very easily shoot pro level pics. A very good bridge between consumer ease, but with most of the pro-level features. Just buy quality lenses.

I would think a ThinkPad X series would be sufficient for what you're doing.

My understanding is that there is a lot high end traditional furniture made around Hickory NC. There was a Market trade show for the design houses in the month of October. It seems they may be liquidating the items they used for their showrooms. I've never tried but if you are interested, you can inquire. If it's good, let me know and I'll go in the spring. http://www....
