I thinking about getting a motorcycle. I know you are required to wear a helmet or sunglasses in Florida. My question if I opt with the sunglasses, how is that going affect the skin on my face? My guess is it can't be good being exposed to the sun and the wind for a long time. However, if I opt with helmet with the visor down, how will affect my vision on the road? I don't see many people ...

Given all the really tiny sizes that bounce around this forum, I'd be really curious to know how many guys on here weight more than 200 lbs. This isn't an assault on anyone's manhood or masculinity or an invitation to comment on how unhealthy a high BMI is, but is purely an exercise in curiosity on my part. I'm 220. Weigh in! Mark

I've found that the smallest size for most suits is usually 38, so I've decided to start lifting weights to try to increase my chest size from 35 to 38. Does anyone have any idea how long this might take? (I plan to lift for one hour every other day)

I thought it would be a good idea to have scent of the day thread where people could post which cologne or aftershave they are wearing that day and maybe a small descriptive blurb if they like. I'll go first. Today I am wearing L'Artisan Parfumer Tea for Two. It's smoky and spicy and reminds me of the exotic scent of the Lapsang Souchong tea.

Given the number of cologne threads going on and recommendations, I thought it might be a good idea for some of us to list our top ten fragrances of all kinds. Mainstream, niche, cheap, expensive, it doesn't matter, but please list some sort of description/high point to each, the approx. price, and any drawbacks to the fragrance. I thought especially that those of us enjoying the Scent-of-the-...

What do you do to take care of your dry hair days? I've tried it all with little success... Currently using Jojoba Oil and Phytodefrisant every other day.... They tend to only work for a while then my hair gets worse.... Suggestions?

i've been doing full body workouts every other day for a couple of months and it takes me about an hour and 20 minutes to get through the routine. while this functions ok, i want to try splitting up the workout, so legs/lower back (i say lower back because of deadlifts) on day one, probably around 14 sets , and upper body on day 2, probably around 18 sets. hopefully this will allow me to ...

Just post your workout and shut up. That means please refrain from commentary/advice on what others choose to do on a weekly basis regardless of how little sense it makes to you. My current gym routine breaks down time-wise like this (sets/reps are dependent on my mood): Mon - AM Warm Up (5-10 min) (Bike & Light Stretch) BB Squat (20 min) BB Calf Raise (10 min) Wed - AM Warm Up (5 ...

Fish Oil, how much?? - 20 new posts
Started 1 week, 2 days ago (2008-10-05 12:27:00)  by brazboy
How much fish oil should I take daily? I'm taking GNC Fish Oil 1000mg, 2 capsules a day. That gives me 360mg of EPA and 240mg of DHA daily. I've read in this forum that many people take up to 4000mg, 5000mg of fish oil a day, but that sounded an awful lot to me. So, how much do you guys take? What's the "RDA" (since there's no official one)?

I use aerosol gels currently. Convince me why I should change, i've heard people like soaps. I was looking at picking up two MAMA BEAR shave soaps, read a lot of good things about it (and not too expensive either) The tubs are 4oz, any idea how long a tub this size would last? (i shave 2x a week) Also, i need a shave brush. Have read badger hair is good, but NO IDEA what to look ...

Like the title of the thread says How many miles did you run today? I didn't see any thread like this, and I thought it would be cool for people to post this so everyone can see the miles they put in every week, and I thought it would help keep people motivated to be able to discuss stuff on their run, conditions, anything strange you might have seen, etc.. Ill start! Starting running...
