I've been doing more verbal, and now I'm averaging about a 9 , I know it's low to some people, but I'm improving and it makes me feel more confident. I've learned that my highlighting method wasn't working. I was too concerned about not missing highlighting something that I wasn't focused anymore. Now, I just read the passage straight, try not to reread back (I think you mentioned that Bennie) and try to show...

My friend took the Kaplan course and got a 37. If you work your butt off, I'm pretty sure you'll be fine (but ideally, not the best from what I read around here).

Which TPR book should I purchase?
Published (2009-11-22 15:40:00)
I wouldn't go through two sources for bio review unless you only read the books once. For instance, read the TPRH early in the week and then read EK for the second go through at the end of the week. Even then, I think it's better to just go through TPRH twice. Anyway, in your case I'd definitely go with TPRH Bio over BR Bio. While BR has better passages, you'll still get some solid practice with EK 1001 Bio and TPRH SW.

HARD. These tests are hard. But, they can be a good source of practice if you have used most of the other sources. I personally recommend that you use these in the early stages of your preparation, because there are more realistic practice tests out there, namely AAMC, Berkeley Review, Princeton Review, and Kaplan (most of them).
You may want to look at Ebay to buy these because they are ...

It can't be 50/50 due to an odd number of passages. It's a chance draw.

Personally i would not. Yeah, your going to need a break...but a 6 day drunken binge with with your buds is too much considering that we are this close to the exam date. When you need a break, close the books for a couple of days....not 6...Dont find yourself to be the Rabbit and let the ole tortoise pass you up while your down there on the beach! Good luck

Oh gosh, the MCAT is such a beast of a test! I can sympathise with your situation, because I was in the same boat. My practice scores were good, my actual first score was bad
For my second time around, I would do verbal practicing by reading everything I could get my hands on! No matter how boring. A word of caution though: this practice didn't reflect well on my VR practice scores the ...

Physics : 1. BR 2. Nova 3. TPR Hyperlearning 4. Kaplan
Verbal: 1. EK Verbal + EK 101 Verbal 2. TPR Hyperlearning 3. BR 4. Kaplan (Avoid if possible)
