The emergency MMP
Published (2009-11-23 15:01:00)
Third? Fourth? Meh, whatever. I mentioned in the remnants of the previous MMP that I think I'm coming down with yet another cold -- but this one is kind of odd. I've got that icky sensation in the back of my nose; you know the one, where you feel like you've got some mucous there or something but can't get rid of it? And swallowing feels icky? Well, I've got that. But that's all I've had since last night....

Oh, hugs!! Obviously, the animals need to be fed, but cleaning can wait until you feel better, when you can "catch up with it" a little at a time as your slowly increasing energy levels allow! Meantime, be as kind to yourself as you can. Do the bare minimum of what absolutely needs to be done!

: Deep breath: So, he's not bleeding from his stomach. This means either he's not bleeding and the blood in his stool was just old news or that he's bleeding from his intestines. Either way, all we get to do is wait and see what his next blood count is.

Well, we're seriously off the rails at this point. Either way, your post #116 clears a lot up - thanks for finally answering Naja's questions. Can it be? Yes it is!
My first time at being first, and on the last time I'll be able to even try to be first for a good while.
So rare to have the opportunity out here on the West Coast, and the next time I'll be able to read an MMP on a Monday, I'll be on the East Coast.
More later about the antics of the trustees and people who don't want us to stay in this house...

I've been on dates that involved joking and teasing with the other person, walking around a little with this other person and exploring nice neighborhoods I don't get to very often. Dates can be awkward, but unless one of the two is really out of touch with whats going on, they can be gentle "nice meeting you, hope you meet someone soon who's more suitable, bye."
...and as tough as it can ...

I've taken Japanese for 2 semesters so far at university. I was never a huge anime or manga fan; I guess food was the biggest draw (see username.) Also, I've lived in London and quite frequently travel to Europe, so, being a lot more familiar with European culture, history, and society, it was something a little different. Plus, it would be cool to live there for a year or two, I think.

Have you always been on this same schedule or is this also a recent change?
Are you drinking coffee when you wake up? Coffee is a laxative so it's going to make things want to move. Frankly, I think I would prefer to have that out of the way before I leave in the morning than have the urge bit later. Sorry, I have no suggestions on how to plug ul the plumbing. Sometimes you body just has to ...

I've looked through the ads and didn't see anything that would have me shopping, however there's a deal on Thursday at KMart for an 8GB flash drive for $10. So I might try and pick up a couple of those.
I may get up early and eat at a local restaurant that is giving away free breakfast entrees between 4am and 5am, my SO is always up at that time and I know he wants to go. So we'll ...

The difference between coniferous and deciduous trees is trivial? Botany isn't real science all of a sudden?
Cursive handwriting is a carryover from an older time when it mattered more, and institutions of learning are slow to change. Some schools, IIRC, are phasing out cursive writing.

Some of my favorite dogs are pit bulls or pit bull mixes. They are so loveable and friendly!! What a shame that the breed has such a bad rap.

I'm so glad you did this!
How did it happen?
Did you go through a grieving process? How did you adjust?
How did your family deal with this?
Did anyone, friend or family, decide they couldn't deal with it and cut ties?
Do you have any kids?

Well, mine is boring, but just to get things started:
In August 2003 I had just relocated, was miserable, and lonely. So I bought The Sims Online (TSO).
I created my first character, and having no idea what cool names were, I decided I wanted something that pointed out that I loved music. So I named my character Melody Harmonius.
Of course, I spelled "harmonius" wrong at first ...

I'm not a parent....
He's being punished, but he still stuck up for himself. Just because he's going to be suspended doesn't mean this bully will pick on him again. Your son showed this kid what he's made of and, by taking the suspension, showed that he's not afraid of the consequences of sticking up for himself. That all seems very mature to me.

Deer are rats with antlers. They destroy more than they produce and they spread disease. They have a brain about the size of a walnut. The deer population must be controlled. The movie "Bambi" was a travesty of propaganda.

I've been riding about 1 1/2 years on my 2008 Suzuki M50. I haven't been riding much lately, and am still under 9,000 miles (7,000 came in the first year). With a baby due on December 15, I may have to give up on the bike. I'm hoping not, as I'd like to still use the HOV lane while my wife is home from work with our baby, but the $280/month total cost may be too much.

I don't want to be an alarmist, but unusual hunger while simultaneously losing weight can be a symptom of diabetes.
