Very good friend of mine is a Sgt. w/ an MP comp. in jacksonville MI he's been put on call for nov4-5.
Another good friend of mine is an MP as well, in Toledo, OH. Hes being sent to Columbus @ the same time.

I always thought a paper cup and yarn was best. There's no electronic trace, impossible to tap into, can't record the conversation, AND you could get good bargains with Dixie cups and yarn at a local Costco.

Good ideas, but I must stress that training needs to go along with the H2H weapons, some untrained guy tries to use those in a fight, he is just gonna end up getting hurt. I know if some guy pulled one of those on me in a fight, I would draw my Glock and shoot him dead, and be legally able to.

IMHO, a good way to ruin your entire life for nothing. Spend your time and your efforts in something better than brawls with no purpose. If anyone of them had been injured seriously during that "fight", we'd had now one less white man.

I too was in Baqouba, Iraq Mar 2004 to 2005 we gave most of our captured AK-47s to the Iraqi police/Army but we retained "a Few" The unit there before us did not have enough rifles and supplemented their M-16s with AKs. We were lavishly supplied with M-4s (Shorty M-16) and did not need the AKs. We did use M-14s and Dragunovs as sniper rifles.
Both weapons feel quite comfortable in my hands...

They used to be big in the late 70s through the 80s but they died off. The problem is, people figured out how hilariously impractical they were.
Impractical or not..they are awesome. I used to have one myself as a child and I've been looking for a good one for a few months (obviously not looking TOO hard).

I brew my own beer all the time, it's not that difficult. If you want to go cheap, just use what I use.
A large kitchen pot, it needs to hold a few gallons of water
Kitchen strainer
Kitchen thermometer
Large funnel
Rolling pin
At least 3 gallons of clean water
A few 3 gallon water jugs.
