I just read your post in the cafe, lots of hugs! I would be concerned too if my doctor jumped immediately to a CT although it is nice that so many people had experiences with CTs that came out just fine. I will be praying for you on Wednesday.

I still use it. We use a white noise machine in her room (we're on a corner lot and a neighbor has a loud motorcycle) so it's harder to her cry. Plus, I can tell when she wants out and I don't want her to start climbing out of the crib! I've been wondering when I'll stop using it though.

Asher has had a really bad diaper rash all day. He has pooped at least 5 times today (kind of lost count there). The weird thing is that every time it has had corn in it and he hasn't had any corn in a week and a half. Desitin doesn't seem to be helping so I think tomorrow I'll let him around around without a diaper on. It doesn't look like it's a yeast infection though so I'm not sure what's up. Maybe it...

Have you tried rubbing cornstarch on his butt? Also Aquaphor works great too. If it continues tomorrow, I would call the ped. Hope he feels better.

It came back OK! I haven't gotten to talk to the doctor yet to figure out how to stop the headaches, but I'm so happy the CT looks clear! The MRI isn't for several weeks. I'm still holding out hope we can find out the innocent answer before we have to do that. We really need to figure it out. She's been so consistent with what she says and does, I really don't think she is making it all up like my mom (who's...

When are you planning (if you haven't already made the transition) to have your child move to a big kid bed? If you have already moved your child to a bed, where did you get the kid's pillow? We aren't really planning on moving Myah to a big bed until after the baby is born. She is happy in a crib and no need to create drama re: needing to stay in the bed instead of getting out. Plus, ...

Do you still use a baby monitor? We do even though Myah is right across the hall from us but I am seriously thinking of stopping. She has been waking up a couple of times a night crying which is of course, waking me up. She only crys out for a second (or at the most 30 seconds) and goes right back to sleep but it wakes me up nonetheless. And then it is hard for me to go back to sleep. I ...

She also loves using purell when she is done. I'm hoping this is a good sign that we will be out of diapers soon...

Two things: First: Ben is totally into car accidents. I don't know that he has ever seen one IRL, but there is a lot of car crashing going on at the house! Are all little boys like this? It got to the point that, when walking across a parking lot 'road' recently, he said to me....."mommy, a car coming. Beep beep! Vvvrrrrrrroooooooommmmmmm!!! AAaaahhhhh!!!! It hit us!" (realizing ...

Joe absolutely LOVES cylinder shaped blocks. He wants pretty much nothing to do with any of the other shapes. Here is a picture of his latest triumph. Any other cylinder loving stackers out there?

My little boy is two!! Time has gone so fast. Anyway, he had fun yesterday. We didn't have a party because of a lot of things are going on this month but we invited his best friend and treated at chucke cheese. We planned to see Madagascar II after but they had so much fun, Jorden was sleep 10 min after getting in the car! He got a lot of trucks and I bought him a car toy from tiny love. He is ...
