I made a new bouncing ball experimenting with particles. It looks pretty lame and the ball bounces weird but the particles were what I was trying to do. I think i'm going to try a stick fight next. Also the framerate is slower than when i saved it...

choppy but good, I mean holy crap, this thing got so much better as it went along, I am right now distracted by watching this animation and I cant get my eyes off of it. I am typing right now without even looking because I love this thing so much.......now that it is over, though, I can certaintly say that you need to add more frames to this.

The WIP is looking nice, almost makes me want to out-do you. But you still have have some resizing and wobbliness issues. Your using a size 4 line for the bodies yes?
If your having frame rate issues it might be your browser. Try using firefox or opera.

Very, very wobbly, particles need to stick around longer and not go so
squiggly (on the beam that is, the body ones were ok).

Not gonna comment about the fact that he's headless, The movements were
good up until the last few frames where it was kinda uneased since it
looked like he was about to attack again.

I say develope the style with the detached head some more.

That's pretty sweet, especially for a first. I'm a bit confused though as to why you put it as a swf? Easytoon will save your animation as a gif, which you can just upload on most sites.
The first section, where he's running off to the right side of the screen, looks pretty good. It looks like you may have gotten a bit sloppy towards the end though, he ends up running sort of like a crab at ...
