Well my wife's DX4900 is dying. The battery door broke off and the battery keeps dropping out, is the latest problem. Since this one has lasted for going on 6 or 7 years, a new one is in order. She likes the camera and the easyshare software even more - so she wants another Kodak. So, I am looking for another Kodak that is drop dead simple. 3x zoom is just fine, any MP is just fine - ...

Hi, In my 4/8 GB sdhc cards I´m just able to produce videos of 33 min in 640 mode... The 8 GB card should take at least 80 min...like in the 320 mode! That 33min are nearly 2 GB video size. By the way, my V570 give me 58min with a 2 GB card in the same 640 mode and 80 min in 640 long mode. Any ideas? thanks sota

Hopefully someone can help this newbie. When I remove the batteries from my Z712 for recharging, the camera loses all it's settings including date and time. This is a total pain in the.... . Is it correct that this happens or is the camera faulty. All help appreciated.

I thought this would make a good back-up camera but now that I have one a few questions seem to be in order. It's supposed to have a 10.1 megapixel rating but after taking a few test shots and comparing them to another camera with a 5.1 MP rating I noticed the file size for the Z1012 was smaller(1.64KB) than the camera with the 5.1 MP rating(2.15KB). The Z1012 is a larger photo overall too. I ...

I noticed on Tiffen's site, as well as Abe's of Maine, a 49 - 58 mm adapter. Do you think either of these will fit my Z1012? I'd like to experiment with filters as I had w/ my old Pentax K1000. I'd like A. A UV filter for protection. B. A polarizer filter C. A Star Filter. Should these filters work the same way w/ a digital camera? I loved using my filters ...

I just got my Z1012 w/ the CR3 battery. I've bought AA lithium batteries for my old Kodak digital camera. I've seen AA rechargeable NiMh batteries. Will these work w/ the Kodak Z1012 or do I have to buy the Kodak Brand rechargeable? Thanks S
