The Extra Arms enhancements & limitations, when applied to your base arm(s), are essentially a new, separate trait. As such, that's exactly how they're listed in GCA - as new disadvantages called No Physical Attack, Short Arms, Weak Arms, and Weapons Mount and advantages called Extra-Flexible and Long Arms. They are never, and would never be, modifiers to One Arm because they can also be acquired by a being with two arms,...

Okay, got that. But still, limitations on disadvantages aren't calculated correctly. Suppose I'm making a were-honey bee - when it stings, it infects the victim and the stinger pulls out of the bee, causing damage. This should be Infectious Attack (-5) with two levels of Costs Hit Points (-20%). It should be a -6pt disadvantage, but GCA gives it -4. Caveat, I have the flu and I'm not exactly clear headed at the moment.

GDF file for Historical Folks?

Does anyone have a GDF file for the Historical Folks web book? Either 3e or 4e would be fine with me. And if not, would anyone be willing to help me put one together. It should not be much work. Historical Folks is a free web book that contains over 100 low point templates for everyday people in a medieval world. Millers, Clothworkers, Monks, those sorts of realistic people. Joshua Levy

GCA sure does check the rules. As far as they are coded into the data files ;). Seems to me that you can't use taboo() tags within modifiers at the moment.

It's not from a book, exactly. It's a way of converting damage of an innate attack of, frex., 12d into 6dx2 by adding a damage multiplier instead of adding more dice to the damage. A damage multiplier of x2 doubles cost (x3 triples cost, etc.), making it the functional equivalent of increasing the number of dice of damage in pretty much every way. Are the problem skills added to the character at a lower point value than required or are they not added at all? Are those skills added to the character previously by this, or another, template?
I ask because there is currently a bug where having a trait with needs(SK:Foo=20pts) won't bump it up to the requisite 20 points if the skill already exists on the character. You can, however, use ...

Just making sure you know, the Enhanced Move advantage doesn't change your Move -- it changes your top speed when sprinting. Your Move stays the same. Someone with Move 5 who buys Enhanced Move 2 (Ground) would have Move 5/20, not just Move 20.

I believe the custom sheet options are global. They appear to be stored under C:\Documents and Settings\{userid}\Application Data\ Steve Jackson Games\GURPS Character Assistant 4\sheetoptions.ini, not with the individual character files.
