I might re-purchase the pack, just to get the 120$ worth of games just added. A pity steam has yet to expand their extra copies rules, if they ever plan to do so.

Yeah I agree the THQ megadeal is simply too awesome too pass up... getting more than £200 worth of games for £26 ftw, and some really decent titles in there. Definitely worth picking up.

I never really cared about achievements in the first place. They only really matter in games like TF2.

So Steam now mimics retail prices more closely (at least for me as a Dutchy). I can't say I'm surprised. The moment they said they were working on localized stores I expected this, I'm at a loss why others didn't as well.
Sure it's been great living of the weak dollar for months, but I didn't expect that to last. Retail still sets the prices for all and will be continuing to do so for pretty ...

While I have seen steam friends go down before (and i haven't used steam a lot the past few weeks so I can't say if things were messing up), I agree that it's annoying. If anything, I'd rather have it reconnect quickly and quietly and not require me to restart the game or anything like that.
But it sounds like your INTERNET is messing up and is disconnecting or whatever. I don't know where...

It's not a big surprise. Impulse is crap; so is Direct2Drive when compared to Steam. GamersGate imo is pretty good but again, it's definitely not as good as Steam.

i did post this in the vac forum, and was told it isnt in there control so perhaps someone in here can answer some simple question's .
1st ) why doesnt steam monitor the language in the mw2 servers ? . cause the language on there , and the links posted via in game chat , plus the language used via the in game ...
