Try uninstalling steam and removing the counterstrikesource directory from steamapps/[steamusername] and reinstalling again.

The best lesson I ever got was not to spray. Just remember that the first shot has 100% accuracy. If you spray you lose a hell of a lot of accuracy so learn to tap click while shooting unless you're point blank from your enemy.

you automatically get full ammo (a shame if you ask me, as it added another layer of complexity to the teamplay ) Anyways, to start off with, some basics are Net_graph 3 and rates should be: Rate 20000-30000 (I have mine at 50k, but most servers limit it around 20/30k, anyways it's how much bitrate the game can use, and since one can easily sustain a fast connection you can go higher than 30k if the server allows it as well... cl_cmdrate...

Vac doesn't take demos my friend sorry. Its all automated and will catch him eventually(few weeks or sooner). But a helpful hint when doing a demo on someone go to spec and stay on their first person. Couldn't tell much when you were in 3rd. 1st person shows everything from their aimbot to walls since we then can see his radar and screen.

People have played this game for years and are really good at it. Chances are they are not cheating and are just alot better than you. Im pretty bad myself but always manage to get couple kills off before I die. My advice to you is to join servers with "noob" in the name and that may help you to learn the basics. I know its been a loooong time but where expecting the new source07 engine and hopefully bug fixes any time soon
This is only speculation and speculation can be sometimes dangerous but ill say it anyway with Valve just finishing DOD beta, I'm hoping that there putting the finishing touches to CSS beta as we speak
