The final release notes are as follows: -Fixed an MP server crash exploit. -Fixed a voice chat crash on systems with no default recording device selected. -Fixed an issue causing erroneous duplicate qport errors. -Server admins can disable team switching by setting g_allow_teamchange to 0. I just installed the game from the retail DVD, and throughout the install I wasn't asked if I wanted a shortcut or not. But still, why don't I get one?

No standing up? never heard of that one in CTF.
Sadly though it's always a sign that a game is dead when the newbs take over and change the game to their liking because they can't handle getting owned, happens to every good FPS eventually.

Um, there *really* aren't as many cheaters as you think there are. From your post it sounds like you are confused to as if you played on a PB enabled server or not. Sometimes people see you when you don't think anyone has, you could have been killed by random wall spam or grenade spam, you may have been near a teammate that wasn't jamming radar and they were going for him, etc.

Multiplayer isn't broken, it works fine for lots of people.
Sounds like you have tried most everything. Something is blocking your game from the internet. Have you tried bypassing your router and putting your PC right on the internet?
