Sorry I meant to merge your 2 posts under a single thread, but instead I ended up merging them into a single post Anyway the same answer applies to both.

Where are they really from?

The location that Statcounter shows as the visitor's location is the location that that visitor's ISP provides as to that IP. Geo data is available from several sources and none of them are 100% accurate. Also know that the location given by the ISP is actually that of the data center, not the actual visitor's location. Also many ISP's share bandwidth and that means that the location my even be shown as being in another...

No, you can't have the same project within two or more different accounts at the same time. At least that is my understanding how it works.

Interestingly, I discovered I have to "open" a specific project, then click the "delete", then password. However, I still can't delete on the "My Projects" main screen. Anyway, got it done. Thank you, Fabio Forum rules on signatures

Came From: Google Image search
Published (2009-11-13 04:54:00)
I have noticed the same thing. I actually liked being able to see what it was the person was searching for on images that landed them on my site. I can't say for sure but I don't think statcounter is behind this. I don't think they would have any motive to doing this. If anything I would say google because they may be trying to preserve privacy for people who search it's sight. But that is just a guess. I loved looking at...

Come to think of it, there was a Windown update a day or two ago, which may have done something to the settings. I have told my machine to accept cookies from Statcounter, which seems to have worked (though it has not been registering every time I visit the page, which is odd). Many thanks

Any help?

What kind of information do you in the stats for the bot? Anyway, this not either deliberate choice of Statcounter or accidental.
The usual bots are not Javascript or image enabled, so you should not see them at all in the stats. But some bots are image enabled and they scan sites for images to index, so those bots get logged since 3rd party counters like Statcounter use a small image to be ...

Depends on what you mean by "sharing website stats"? You need to explain what you would like to do.

I guess I'm lucky if I even see the most recent visitor on the bottom of the page now!
The RECENT PAGELOAD ACTIVITY page is fine. But the RECENT VISITOR ACTIVITY page is all messed up. This is happening with ALL my projects.
Sure hope I'm not the only one this is happening to and that it is fixed real soon!

Well, this is not exactly a feature request.
I just would like to know if somebody has tried to use any kind of interval timer to record the same page again from time to time.
Let me explain: when a visitor leaves the website, the visiting time for the last visited page is not recorded as there is no further execution of the StatCaounter code and there is no way to know how long the visitor ...

It means the referrer information is not available.
It could be due to many reasons.
What is the url of yrou website where you have the Statcounter code?
