maybe this will brighten your outlook...... It would be a major upset if Matt Holliday does not re-sign with the Cardinals, esp with NY and Boston showing no interest. 8:47 AM Dec 18th from web BNightengale it'd just one writers opinion stl knew who matt's agent was when they traded for him, and then when they made this FA offer. hard to pull out as the favorite to sign him, with a fair market offer on the table.

We got hit here in NY I would say 6 inches .......I hate to shovel and all I wanted to do to go camping this weekend ,but no cause all I heard was snow is it's way sheet . I sure hope thats the end of it for the whole yr.

I also liked Lopez remember this past season when he hit 2 or 3 home runs in the first game of the season we sure could have used him last year and this year .

Well, there's no accounting for taste, but I would have thought DeRosa would be quite contented to stay off that Cub team of hyenas in that filthy zoo called Wrigley Field in that corrupt city of Chicago. I would like to see DeRosa back if his wrist surgery works out okay and the Cards don't have to pay a fortune for him.

the deal was restructured to allow cincy to recoup 5mil of the 11mil rolen was due to make in 2010. it's now 6mil in 2010 with a 5mil deferred bonus. for the deferrment, rolen gets 2 yrs at 6.5mil (2011 & 12). atkins accepted 4mil in 2010 w/an option year buyout of 0.5mil. 4.5 guaranteed. pedro feliz signed w/HOU for 1/4.5mil polanco just signed a 3/18mil for an avg of 6mil. figgins accepted ...
