Gonna go see Yndi Halda next week, and possibly Planes Mistaken For Stars and The Weakerthans in early August. Defiance, Ohio are coming over to the UK in October too. That's all I can really think of.

Awesome band in my opinion. I have a crush on the female singer Kelli Sutherland. They are one of the oddest bands I have ever heard but heck they are so darn catchy it makes up for all of it. Their videos are just an example of their strangeness and childlike behavior. Like "Heart it Races" with it's crazy awesome puppet thing or "Hold Music" having the greatest Poncho/Trampoline ...

How great are these guys? It's cool seeing them blowing up now. The Sun Giant EP is flawless and their s/t is also good. Such good harmonies. And plus with J.Tillman in the band they're unstoppable.

If you havent heard Directions To See A Ghost yet you should really get on that. They sound like Joy Division on acid mixed with the Velvet Underground. And the guitars sound like they could've come from a My Bloody Valentine record. This record is much better than Passover imo. Discuss.
