Quote: Based on his preseason performance and work with the Spurs last season, Malik Hairston is precisely the sort of player for whom San Antonio needs to find minutes. He’s a good defensive player, rebounds well, and can bring more offense than Keith Bogans. I agree with that, but he is too easy on bonner!!! it's funny how Bonner isn't so bad, when 4 other players are all stars and doing all the work... Thats like saying...

Ill-timed comment. Bogans has played well in the 2nd half.

I am surprised myself. I can understand that hes sstil gettin used to his new teamates but for one he seems to have started the season not in shape. It looks like he is a couple of pounds heavier han normal and he seems to be really sluggish. Doesnt look like he worked out in the offseason at all. I was expecting more explosivenes from him. Maybe he'll start steppin up his game when hes in better...

I KNOW RJ is our biggest and Mcdyess was talked about as well, then we drafted Blair too. I think I know why Pop picked up this guy now, he is seriously with time going to be a surpise and a player IMO, especially on D! Was that our sleeper pickup out of all of them?

i don't blame him for playing bad. we all knew he was declining, this team was supposed to be built for him to not be much of a factor.
problem is, Pop is playing last year's team, which contributed to Duncan's problems. Bonner, Finley, and Mason make Duncan do more than he should! Duncan kept getting upset playing next to Bonner, yet Pop keeps Bonner in for whatever reason. Finley ...

My suggestions that were laughed at:
1. starting Hairston, I'm sure Finley and Bogans is still the best option?
2. starting Theo Ratliff, because he couldn't do a better job than Bonner?
3. Raja Bell, because apparently he plays better hurt (offensively and defensively) than Finley, Mason, Bogans.
the Spurs need to do something. forget the obsession with Bonner and Finley and ...

GET RID OF HIM. I know, it's only the 4th game but seriously....can he be any worse? We need a PF/C type of player the knows how to defend, rebound, and be an intimidating factor in the paint. Sure Bonner spreads the floor on the offense but he's a huge liability on the defense. He's horrible at week side help and transition defense. He can't block, he can't rebound......he's just horrible. We ...
