Well to anyone looking at this thread and considering the Treo Pro... I say by all means, it's a great phone. But the first thing I'd recommend you do is to get spb mobile shell. It makes it much more user friendly. Much more of a gui as opposed to text based. I've tried many version of Opera but the one that's best for me is 9.5. It has a finger slider on the right side when the text is too small, very cool. Integrates...

Sprint's marketing exec said in a Web chat last month that there would be "surprises" before the end of the year. Given that they have to have a product on the shelves within the next week - two weeks at the absolute latest - for it to be in time for any serious Christmas shopping, it seems like the "surprise" is that Sprint is going into the Christmas season with it's outdated phone selection....

In the settings menu, I can move up/down: Sync Data Sound Wallpaper Communications Customize Tabs My contact card Mail setup g-sensor About At the bottom it says "All Settings" on the left and "menu" on the right but I can't access those without the touch screen it seems! Is there a special key I can hit to access them? All I want to do is wipe the phone clean. You think there'd be an easier way....

Yeah, it's better than 9.7 for a lot of the sites that I visit. Especially news sites like NY Times, Washington Post, etc. Text isn't HUGE anymore and I can take advantage of the high resolution TP2 screen to fit a lot more text onscreen. Very nice.

Count me in as one of the relatively few who care about this release - FINALLY! But I hate, despise and fear ActiveSuck - it's helped destroy data on my phone before. Can I just extract the ROM from the .exe package and flash by the SD card method? The 100+ MB file isn't named RAPHIMG.nbh or whatever, but if I rename it will it work? Also - if the radio gets replaced and I want to stick...

Is it normal to never see the battery charge at 100%? My Treo Pro came with two batteries in the box (not sure if they regularly come with two batteries, I bought it "slightly used" on eBay), and I've never seen any of them at 100%, even when plugged in overnight. Highest I've ever seen is 99%
