Should be able to go into the settings and select "update profile" most likely to do an OTA programming. Or, option 2 is to esn swap back to her old device and right back to the exclaim and get the page with programming instructions __________________ Touch Pro 2, Touch Pro and a Treo Pro active. Call tech support. Its not a phone problem its a problem with the network. give them an example number, carrier the number belongs to and the error message. They should be able to fix it and if not they will open a ticket for you.

Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, I was on Cellular One and used the Moto DPC-550. I was so jealous of StarTac owners! I'm hunting around for a Sprint StarTac for a backup/nostalgia phone, but they're as rare as a clean Sanyo MM-9000. __________________ BIS / OS 4.7.1.57 (110) Shoutout to FATBOY : Thanks for the SU$ for a Premium Membership!!

Those types of sellers are legit, but you have to follow their instructions to the T. You have to know if they will extend your current contract or force you into a "modern" plan at a greater cost to you. They have an email address listed, just email and inquire what their requirements are! __________________ Touch Pro 2,...

I believe it is a glitch. I would suggest calling tech support and having them confirm which version you are supposed to have. It may be a thing where something was not coded right, or where you have to accept the charge but will not be billed more for it. Good luck! __________________ Touch Pro 2, Touch Pro and a Treo ...

They seem to have sending these out a lot more recently, either that or just more people are reporting getting them. It works out best for all involved, you get to move to a carrier that has better service in your area and Sprint saves on the roaming fees.

Motorola StarTAC ST7867W I found this at a yard sale for $2 one day, and by God it activated and made calls! It's a dinosaur, I know, but it reminds me of the days before the cell phone industry became silly. If you are able to return the phone, it will not affect your upgrade eligibility. Note I said if...The problem I believe you will have is returning the phone without the UPC. As I understand (from what a Sprint employee told me), if the UPC is not attached, they won't refund/exchange the phone.
