I think I had seen the same price at Costco B&M without the hassle of coupon and such.

This deal also includes free 3-5 day shipping (tax is collected), and the upgrades are pretty reasonable - esp. the 2 -> 8 Gig upgrade for $170 (Crucial sells the same upgrade for $380! BUT, Dell requires a 64-bit OS with system purchase when RAM exceeds 4 Gigs), the
discrete graphics option is pretty reasonable at $75, and the CPU can be upgraded to dual core Athlon for $50, or to a faster ...

Wish they would have had this two weeks ago. I just got a 3.5 front loader by Frigidaire and it was $531 (didn't have to pay tax, delivery was
free after rebate, and 2 years no interest).. The LG's have much better reviews.

Rang up as $32.47 for me. An extra $4 savings I wasn't expecting! (^.^)
I'm eager to see what
kind of Black Friday deals will come out of this.

Looks like a good deal for a gaming laptop except that I hate HP for anything other than printers.

Performance should be fine. I think this drive is 5900rpm. For most people this drive will be great. The old gospel of less than 7200RPM being to slow is no longer true. The new hardware and firmware is very quick.
For comparison: Pentium 4s went as high as 3.6ghz. The next set of CPUs, the Core Duos, and the Core 2 Duos, went to ~2.6ghz, but were
miles ahead of their predecessors. The numbers...
