Your Favorite Video Game of 09
Published (2009-12-17 20:16:00)
I hardly listen to reviews, so I just went for it and I have invested at least 15 hours into the game, I am really enjoying it, the atmosphere is really cool, and the gameplay is fun as hell. I recommend you to at least rent it, it is really enjoyable. BTW, welcome to the forums!

Okay, I'm a no-time listener and first-and-only time writer, and I want to ask what's the deal with airline food? ---Nah, I'm kiddin'. But seriously, I've been noticing a trend with videogames lately that there are more now that were made with a 'trilogy in mind.' What's the deal with games turning into trilogy franchises? Whatever happened to games that didn't continue onto two more that got darker...

Most challenging Boss Fights

The nuke in COD4.. died every time! ugh worst boss ever... all joking aside (sorta), Vergil in DMC3 just loved to put mushroom shaped stamps on my prissy metrosexual smartass face with his giant demon cock like I was a fucking pornstar. I just imangined him saying "I'll show you some holy water" as I tossed my 47th holy "does worthless damage" water on the fucking prick. I consider megaman 9 a boss that was more...

While I certainly like Saints Row 2, I would never put it atop the pedestal Gta4 occupies. Grand Theft Auto 4 had largely forgone its roots, focusing on an engaging plot, characters, dialogue, art design, animation, and improved pacing. Gta4 was a remarkable experience, surmounted only by Bioshock and MGS3 in terms of a mesmerizing and gratifying endevour. Saints Row 2 couldn't possibly be any simpler, as it's entirely about stupid...

Kratos from God of War. Yes, he's a BAMF, but that doesn't mean you get to be just a little BAMF too. And seeing as he's at war with the Gods, I doubt you'd want to be anywhere near him when the shit hits the fan.

This is really awesome news, but what the fuck does that mean, "Arkham has Moved"? Eh, whatever. Arkham Asylum is the greatest comic book game made so far, so I have faith. And I fucking hate it when people say that a game is the greatest ever made, or whatever.

The cast of the two Uncharted games kicked my arse, more so in the sequel because everything in that game was perfect. The symmetry between the animation and acting was the closest I have seen a video game being like a film without bordering on to pretentious levels that the Metal Gear Solid series does.

When I first heard about this story, I was thinking that Medal of Honor was just following Call of Duty footsteps. The only way I can see it standing out if it continues the series historical accuracy angle instead of Call of Duty's blockbuster style.

Halo 3 was a MAJOR LETDOWN for one it was hyped sooo gawddamn much, I mean a Halo edition Mountain Dew, gimme a break. Not only that but it was quickly forgotten the next month when CoD4 came out which was not hyped much and word of mouth about that game spread like wildfire.
