Right click My computer, properties, Advanced system setup/Advance/Startup and Recovery... then click settings and you should see a Edit button under the
pull down menu showing whats listed.. just remove what you don't want there and click save.

I'm working on a system that had a similar issue..I found the tray was bent downward slightly, I just pushed up on it a little with it open (not alot to break it) and that fixed it...not sure why it was bent down. I got the system for that reason...and when I tried to boot it up, I get
Unmountable Boot Volume
SO I'm now trying to figure out if the drive is still good before I tell the ...

The G3 should be solid, if you'd like to tinker and learn about servers...a great bench rig to dork around with. To save weight, remove the hard drives (note the sequence) and see if you can tote those yourself on the trip home. Another possiblity to save
shipping weight, if it has a redundant power supply.
The 2.4 Xeon it probably has, plus the RAM, depending on what the drives are......

Well, here's
the happy ending to my story. After exchanging my NVidia card for another, and also updating the BIOS and upgrading all the motherboard, chipset, NVidia and D-Link drivers to their latest versions and realizing none of these solved the problem, I decided to change my wireless card.
I exchanged my D-Link WDA-2320 PCI wireless card with someone who has a Linksys WMP54G PCI card ...
