Tv Repair Around here

Thanks but the tv itself isn't worth but 400 working right. I have already replaced it with a nice 40" lcd for 600. So I guess I will be going to the landfill with it...Unless somebody wants it...

For anyone still wondering, I did get this installed. I wound up bending the low profile bracket to make it completely vertical. So, instead of the bend at the top, it's completely vertical. Card went into the PCI-E slot like a champ, got the drivers installed -- and it's good to go! __________________ Last name Ever, first name Greatest

Windows XP Display Problem

System Restore is done pretty frequently. Shouldn't cause any problems. Maybe restore it and try the patches again and see if it's fixed. I think I've seen the problem before and I'm racking my mind to figure out what it was and how I fixed it but I can't get there right now

"AppData" is normally hidden. You must go into "Folder Options" and set "Hidden files and folders" to "Show hidden files and folders". As for the padlock on user folders, it's so others users can't get into your user folder---unless they are part of the administrator group. Also, I'm not 100% sure if Windows Mail can use the Outlook/Outlook Express .pst files.

Sparkle GEForce 8400GS/AMD Sempron 3100+ Install Before I jump into completely messing my video card up, I thought I'd come here for help. I got a new GEForce video card to replace my aging 6100 card. Needless to say, it's a dinosaur by today's standards. My PCI-E slot is near my two DDR RAM slots. When I try to set the video card down into the PCI-E slot, it seems to be ...

Software patents have become ridiculous, and this case is just one of the many examples of why our patent system needs reform. I will say though, it's nice to see one of the patent trolls (aka Microsoft) get a taste of their own medicine. IBM, Microsoft, etc. all troll software patents for some of the most ridiculous stuff.
