All three of them seemed to have their moments of airheadedness. I get the feeling that she had just never heard that before. That's also the longest BP we've had in a while.

Tossups : good job by my fellow Chicagoan getting two of three. For the second one, I initially said ON RECORD...but quickly corrected it. R1 : I got it with the N's, L, A's and R's. Ben's a big fan of the Red Sox, FYI. R2 : I got it with the T's, E, A, R and P filled in. Felt pretty bad for Marty doing all that work before hitting LAT. I would have had the same reaction as him If I got that bad break. R3 : The first...

I feel like an idiot for originally posting this under my own name. I'm going to go re-add all the formatting right now... Anyways, the only thing I have to say here is that I found that BR extremely solvable with the best consonant F. She clearly did not know the phrase though at all.

WOW! Definitely one of my favorite episodes this season. Pat is on a roll with that $5k wedge in the FR! Awesome playing tonight and the puzzles were interesting. That Clever Endeavor got me too, I kept thinking "no, clever has an A in it, so it can't be that", because the word ENDEAVOR threw me off, but of course I normally know it's spelled CLEVER. Sneaky little puzzle!!! Great job ERIN!

I don't see what difference letting us know well in advance what the themes will be is. It's nice to be surprised sometimes, and there's not a whole lot of guessing you can do with most of the names.

The new theme had to have been only heard for September - sometime from
October - January. I wonder though if this could instead be the spring
rerun and the Teen Week was maybe the season premiere week, like in Seasons
12 and 13. Then again, there was a second Teen Week in April 1995. My guess
is this one was April 9, since that would be Good Friday, and the rerun was
April 12 - 16, since that ...

Yes they are. I know this because I saw half of an episode which was Wheel
into 1995. BTW, this time around they didn't show Family Week episodes.

I remember a couple of strange things but I can't recall them enough to list them in detail.
One thing I'd really like to know is if a puzzle only has vowels left and no one has any money to buy a vowel and they can't solve it....what happens?
Or, what happens if all 3 players can't properly solve the puzzle and all the letters are filled in?

Three things:
1. Todd really knew how to use that Free Play!
2. Isn't "Baby Ducklings" redundant? They're duck ling s, so by definition, they are babies. It's like saying "Church hymn" oh wait, they've used that too.
3. Somehow I knew Todd would pull a last-minute rally. Even before Pat hit the 5K.

Well this show was in serious danger of being the worst of the season -
$6875 could have been easily been a winning total, and a evil little BR
puzzle came, and Melanie did not do us Bostonians proud in R2. Semi-ugh.

Two minor things I missed: I didn't get the Jackpot total, and I forgot to type down what the 3rd tossup looked like when Erin rang in. Other than that, I think I got everything. (ETA: Forgot to put in the SPIN ID on the first go-round. I just went back and put it in.)
Rather impressive performance all around, Erin! You were one Toss-Up away from a clean sweep, and I don't blame you — that was...

While I'm glad the BRs are being won consistently the past 10 days, the
maingames in Boston have been very stale so far. I hope to see this turn
around very soon!
