I would think that selling a new customer on your services for 3 years would be real tough. I would suggest that after one year if they are happy with the services would they be interested in a 3 year contract. These days no one want a long term commitment.

Theyhave three yearsto file a claim. After that time you should be "safe".

If you had insurance at the time of the accident your insurance company should will cover it, even if your policy is not active at the date the claim is filed.

I'm no professional mechanic by any means, but i think that if your working on his equipment, then you should be paid for it. i also think it matters if its someone that you know well or just another customer. even though if it is just another customer they still should be treated with great respect. so maybe you could settle in the middle. if its gonna take you an extra hour to read the ...

Most contracts that I have seen have a clause in there that basically says by either party may terminate the contract by giving 30 days notice.

Sounds like a lot of red tape to me. How bad do you want it?? 8 months on a plowing contact? It isn't like you live in CO. $150 for a cert of ins???? Those should be free. I have never paid for one in my life and never even heard of paying for one.

I don't know that contractor and we don't work in your area but in all honesty if things are really that bad I would look for a part time job delivering pizza or driving a taxi.
