I'm told that DOT use the door sticker in BC while they use Tire Class in Alberta. At the same time I am told that they don't often pick on personal vehicles unless they are being jackasses or look to be far over legal limits. I'll be on the cusp of the trucks limits dry and slightly over when fully loaded. Here's to keeping ones fingers crossed when i scale the complete setup with the tandem trailer loaded up. I think...

Studded tires are awesome, but I don't think you can stud a tire that has already been drove on. I'm pretty sure they have to be new.

Wow that's awesome. man I'm excited for you just thinking of the potential here. I'm kind of partial to the Dmax, it would be easy to find an '06 ( the first year of the LBZ motor, no sense in buying a newer one because you'll be working it over so hard anyways ) I'd work with a Reg cab cause they're so light, and personally like I said I'd get it shortened. With your budget I'd build the motor...

Sledding this season will be a lot of fun with the all season camper rigged up on the back of my truck. Should be all decked out next week and ready for it's first of many trips to BC. Hope camping in the parking lots around Golden is cool cause it'll be sweet to wake up and get out riding early an not having to drive to hotels? BC got any trailering laws or weight limits to 3/4 ton trucks ...

Re: Diesel drags Dunno about the class requirements for the track but I can tell you these Duramax trucks rock with some work. Running 650hp/850tq on mine and that's nothing compared to what you can get out of them. The blocks are great and there's some great stroker kits out there if you want to get one of these to run in the 10 second club. Talk to Chris over at Stripe Tech. ...

on our triton we mounted it in between the axles with 4 u bolts works well, still have to hook up hoses
