As I have mentioned in another thread, the ipeng iphone app has had no trouble utilizing the new menu structure of mysqueezebox.com without even being updated! The existing ipeng app just "knew" how to work with the new menu structure. Maybe logitech should hire the ipeng guy to help logitech design the software remote control app for mysqueezebox.com.

you can't blame auto-bailouts on bush, he really had nothing to do with that. the other bailouts you can, altho its worth pointing out dems supported them too. as to why things got to that point to begin with, its incredibly complicated and endlessly debatable, but what is clear is that it took inane and inept actions from the gov't, both in over-regulation and under-regulation, to make it possible. (that, katrina, amtrak, etc... are...

MLB GameDay Audio?
Published (2009-11-09 15:38:00)
IIRC the MLB Gameday plugin gets an RTMP URL which is then played through a variety of apps ending with mplayer. The author of the plugin should look at BBCiPlayer. BBCiPlayer handles BBC RTMP URLs and converts them into streams which can be played directly (i.e no transcoding if Flash/mp3) - no need for other apps such as rtmpdump or mplayer. It doesn't answer the original request - it still needs a PC but it would simplify the current...

Eric, You are a lifesaver! My problem was that I had upgraded my router to another model and somehow I had not set the IP address for the new router to the same address the old router had. In FrontView the old IP address was there, so FrontView and SqueezeCenter could not find the new router. I just changed the IP address of the new router to match the old address and now everything works correctly. For your information, you may be able to put...

I've got iplayer v9.03f, Squeezebox server version 7.4.1, I'm running Windows Vista. No luck with sub-menus on my remote. Would uninstalling and reinstalling iplayer help? What's best way to do this?

i hope there can be a way to get some traction going with that request.

then maybe, the mighty NFL should be brought into the squeeze fold. But now I'm dreaming of a perfect world...

OK, I just spent 1/2 hour (not including being on hold) with the tech folks at Logitech and I've gone from flummoxed to really, really angry. First off, I had to lead the tech (ESL student) through step by step, I had to tell him how the player operated and had to continually get him back on track. Suffice it to say I knew a LOT more about this player than he did...and I'm a noob! He ...

Radio Paradise has moved their 192kbps stream to something called Octoshape, looks like a p2p approach to streaming.
Is it possible to access Octoshape over MySB?

Actually, it doesn't even stream it live. The BBC live stream from Apps works fine, but the iplayer not at all.

This URL from your list worked OK for me. Test by using WebUI Tune-In.

It is in AAC format so you need your PC running and at least SC 7.3.3 as AAC is not native to older SBs.

I can confirm that exact behaviour. On SBC it works fine although it has been confused about locale. I've had Polish, English and Italian as menu language in the SHOUTcast application, but just this morning it finally got it right (Swedish). Guess I'll have to wait and see if it stays fixed.

It's no App, but a few ways to get various NPR feeds on MySB:
On the Remote Control UI or from your player's menu:
RadioTime > Search > NPR
RadioTime> Talk > Public/NPR
Internet Radio > Talk > Public/NPR

Hi David,
I had the same problems and have installed a lot of nightly builds without success. But yesterday I have set dns entries in the readynas (before the entries were empty because the dns entries were set in the router) and made a clean installation. Yet all is working but I can't say if it's because the dns entries are set in the readynas or/and the clean installation. Now all is working...

Pandora is restricted on SqueezePlay unless you are a subscriber.
They want you to use their website if you're a free user on a PC in
this case.
