WOL is not an issue because you use standby, not shutdown, the server preserves the value over that. Little sense in WOL if you have to wait four minutes until your server is fully up and running.

I have a jive menu that needs to relect the change in the radio (check) status. I can confirm it works by manually changing the value in the called routine and then firing $request->setStatusDone(); My problem though is that I have an asyncronous routine that runs and after it completes I need to set the new value. I have tried various techniques and none seem to cause anything to happen. I have a global variable that contains the state...

Published (2009-12-03 16:39:00)
Hi, I've got a line of code in my applet that appears to be interpreted incorrectly by the duet controller but works in desktop SquuezePlay. The line looks like this Code: log:info(tonumber("0x80000023", 16) & 0x7FFFFFFF) Desktop SqueezePlay 7.4r0 returns 35 (= 0x23) which is the right answer. Duet controller 7.4.1 r7915 returns 2147483647 (= 0x7FFFFFFF) which is wrong. I have used bitwise operands elsewhere in...

It sounds like you want SqueezePlay or SoftSqueeze. Both are software emulators of the hardware players and can be used on a PC to do the same things as you can do with a real hardware device. SoftSqueeze is emulating Classic, Transformer, Boom and earlier devices, it's maintained and supported by third party developers. SqueezePlay is emulating Radio, Touch and Controller and is ...

Are there many third-party developers left? I have felt the same over the last couple of years. Okay, so I'm not a prolific plugin developer like you, but I have made a few and supported them over the years, but with each new SS/SC/SbS release there's been a gradual decline in development support. Each new release generally breaks a load of plugins without warning, and the original authors ...

I've found that 7.3.x & 7.4 both work flawlessly with album art contained in cuesheet embedded flacs. I add album art to my flacs via a script that at one point calls: Code: :EMBED_PICT if exist "%~n1.jpg" echo Embedding coverart.. & "%~dp0metaflac.exe" "--import-picture-from=|image/jpeg|||%~n1.jpg" "%~n1.flac" I never see SqueezeCenter / SqueezeboxServer fail to pickup artwork...
