Unfortunately, these're individual buildings.. not the whole city, but there is imporovement. By small-town standards it's somewhat fast too.

I do live in blagoevgrad but don´t know this road, I guess it´s very unimportant since I don´t know it. I know msot ayor roads and they all are not fixed. Maybe the road is somehwere in strumsko where I don´t go often but who does? there´s a big difference from you are dumb to your insults thrown at me. But ok, continue supporting Paskalev and be happy. I am angry, it can´t be that I travel from Sofia to Blagoevgrad only on good roads...

There are ongoing efforts for the restоration and preservation of Dimitrovgrads' unique architekture (it's really a pitty that those marvellous buildings are in such poor condirion ):
images from http://monument.dimitrovgrad.bg (btw the render used for background is downtown Dimitrovgrad as planned in the beginning of the construction works in the late 40s)...

oh thanks for the info. I think its the dumbest things in the world to get
rid of the communist architecture/statues, like blowing up the mussoleum,
which would have attracted many tourists.

Shumen Fortress
Just 3 kilometers west of the modern town Shumen lay the ruins of what use to be a great Bulgarian fortress. The first settlement on the site is of Thracian origin and dates to XII c.BC.
