Hi, Does anyone have any suggestions how I could set up my outdoor office (25 metres away from DG834GT router)? Would running an ethernet cable underground work or should I go for my preferred option of wireless? If the latter, how would I achieve this as the signal seems to wilt as I get outdoors? Would a repeater/booster just inside the back door work? I have also read about ...

Well it seems to have sorted my LCP drop-out problem. Connection Time 47:11:48 I know that may not seem long for you, but it's a record for my connection. It normally drops out at least once a day.

Hi, I'm new to this forum so not sure if I'm in the right place. I finally got my router from sky when I moved house (there were problems with the old one). I've moved closer to the exchange (332 metres as the crow flies) but my internet connection is only 3.1. I'm on the max package. Can someone help?

I need some help as I am suffering speed and I think noise issues, Sky think it is outside of my house as I have no extensions ext, the noise levels have not realy changed before I run the cable. I had BT out recently to install a new Master socket, then I fitted a XTE2005 faceplate to it, from this I ran a Cat 5 e cable from the A & B faceplate connectors to another room ( 20 meters ) to...

I thought it had something to do with the last update, thats when i started getting the message, but if i kept trying i usually get through. Its been 2 hours now and no joy. I suspected it was something to do with ...

Hi. We have recently joined Sky Broadband and I would like to use our relatively new Wireless-N router as the speed over wireless of the supplied Sky Sagem router is pretty slow. I've read that using a non-Sky router is against Sky's T&Cs, so I was wondering if it is possible to create a network using both routers - Sky router connecting to the PC while the Wireless-N provides ...
