Sky To Allow Self Install on...

It just doesn't seem to be such a big improvement on PQ that I was expecting. The PQ on my Pioneer 5090 was very good after I had it calibrated recently anyway. Perhaps I'm expecting too much. Don't get me wrong, It's a big improvement on the Sky+ I had b/4 and I do like the new EPG although the remote is a bit slower to respond.

If you have only just transfered to max it could be that your connection is undergoing dlm. If so then you need to leave your router on all the time as any reboots/ disconnections will be seen by the dlm process as a problem and it will reduce your sync speed accordingly. Your attenuation should result in a sync speed close to the maximum ( mine's 22 and I sync at 18.5 meg ) To get your max delays reduced you need to get through to...

I said it was far below what was expected. Not that there was a low take up. I am trying to find the article I read where they reduced the HD box price to boost sales of their HD service.
