true we need major investment if we were gonna keep up with technology and bt says we dont need fibre bull**** we do need it and we need it now there only saying that cause they dont wanna spend money greedy *******s they would rather be money grabbers instead of investing in there network fibre to the cabinet isnt good enough and it is disapointing if bt dont look out they will go bust hopefully haha

The cabinets that are having to be moved are in a conservation areas in Haringay, not a very posh area at all, and it is the local council who is making BT do it. Perhaps if they concentrated on getting better child services than how a a few streets look would be a better use of their time.

Yep, as soon as the increase came, I subscribed to Sky Talk Freetime which is free and has the £5 credit appearing on my account. My mobile contract is with Orange and my dad makes use of that to get free BB at their house, so if I switched to o2, then my folks would lose their BB (sky haven't got their exchange enabled!!!!).

Quote: there only saying that cause they dont wanna spend money That is easy to say, but according to the estimate you want to believe it would cost £25-50 billion to roll out fibre throughout the UK. There is no company, even with government support, who could undertake that. With today's economic climate all we can hope for is that it gets done sometime in the future. What really annoys me is the way that BT are throwing money at many...

Well thats unusual that you have O2/BE enabled at your exchange and not Sky as it's usually the other way around AFAIK, and thats certainly the case where I live. Personally I'd rather have O2 than Sky and most other people around here have already switched. Oh well!

All Sky enabled exchanges are capable of 20Mbs and have been from the very start. All Sky are doing is lifting the 16 Mb cap. Unless you are getting 15-16Mbs at the moment, it will make no difference to you. If you are, you should phone Sky and ask them to upgrade you.

Looking at those exchanges, I'm shocked at how many are in the Welsh Valley's. Fair play to Sky / Easynet.
