in the past they have kept the lasts the same, but changed the chart, which is helpful to people who know what size they like already, and lets them keep making their "our lasts have never changed" claim. no idea if that is the case here. no mention of any of this on the bont message board. the new chart gets rid of that 7mm jump in the old chart.

Quote: You're a size 6 or 6.5 http://www.bont.com/sizes.htm To Mr. Necktie's credit, he may be right. I think the size chart just actually...changed! I'm trying to clarify which one is correct, the one I have, which I have been using for over 15 years, or the one now on the website...which is vastly different than the one I have. All I know is that my foot is 245mm, and there's no way my foot will fit in a 5-37.

If later on your going to want to try speed skates, you might as well just by them now. Both the Bont Jet and Appache are great skates. I believe the jet is build a little higher...

Looks pretty cool, but be aware that it is made with fiberglass and not carbon. Some companies know how to to use fiberglass correctly (Bont) and others do not. I don't know which category Powerslide falls into. Worst case is you will end up with a boot that sags down and touches the 2nd wheel when you push. Best case, you will get a boot that works just fine but weighs a little bit more than...

All 3 are top frames. each is good in their own way. Many people like the LSR frames because the material they are made out of and design. Yes the frames had a little spring to it, and I know one skater that hates every other frame he puts on because it doesnt have that snap back. I havent sold the simmons frame, but we do sell a good amount of cado frames, you just need to make sure you...

A dremel and/or washer would probably work but I'd run it past JimmyB first. I remember a post he made about using a heat gun on the outside of the problem area and letting the wheel press in and create some space.
